Forever Sleepy Mornings

as the night has lost its sun
and the sun is on the other side
our bones of white huddle close
intertwining like roots under soft soil
or like a braid of black hair on our little girl
throughout the darkness
the bodies of ours slowly move apart
but close we still are and shall remain
as we heavily dream and breath
towards the end of the night
and as early morning approaches
the sleepier we get
arms around each other as we lay
as we sleep some more
and we get closer and closer as close can get
until the late and warm noon of our day
